{Ethereal Woodland Bride} New Mini Bridal Collection

I've been working on new bridal pieces for the shop for quite some time now, on and off. I've had some ideas that I really wanted to create and be inspired upon but it has seemed like a little roller coaster to actually finish these pieces among lots of trial, error and creative blockades. That's the thing about coming up with a completely new collection-inspiration, above all, is KEY!

So far, I've completed a few pieces which will serve more as a "mini collection" rather than a full collection. None the less, I'm excited to bring new pieces to Love Sparkle Pretty and I'm so thankful to Kristen Booth for capturing these new adornments!

Here's a little peek at what's to come.
Poetry, the newest bridal crown created with white and ivory blossoms amongst pretty greenery. I will also be adding soft english net veils to the shop that pair perfectly with floral crowns as well as by themselves. Each are attached to two small beaded combs that make it easy for adornment.

Lina, a shear, dainty capelet with hand stitched rhinestones, beads and pearls gracing the neck, shoulders and back.

Alia, a stunning shoulder piece carefully created with rhinestones to grace the clavicles and take place of the traditional necklace. Working on a few more of these designs as well.

All of these pieces and a few more will be added in the shop by February for Pre-Orders. I will be taking maternity leave from March-May to welcome our second little baby so these pieces will ship once the shop has reopened.

Recent Custom Pieces {Floral Crowns, Bridal Veils and Newborn CUTENESS}

Hello friends.

I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and a beautiful holiday. I certainly did with my family! We were exhausted by the end of the day but I am so thankful for the love of our family around us! That's what truly matters most.

Now that the holidays are drawing to an end, I have quite a bit of catching up to do with sharing what's going on with the shop. I haven't shared any custom pieces recently so I figured I would start there. I get quite a bit of custom requests and I don't get around to sharing them very often so I compiled a few recent pieces for this post.

enjoy

This custom floral crown was created for a bride getting married in April 2015 in beautiful Riviera Maya, Mexico. The bride wanted a piece similar to the Everly Crown but with more ivory/white hues and just a touch of peach/pink and sage green in her piece. She was so amazing to work with and I'm loving the way this crown turned out! So excited for her!

I know I shared this piece via social media a while back but I realized I never shared it on the blog! I created this custom crown and english net veil combo for a bride getting married this coming June. This is definitely one of my favorite custom pieces I've created yet! For the crown, I hand beaded and wired the front of it with rose gold wire with an assortment of shades of gold, bronze and pearl beads and rhinestones. For the back of it, I used ivory hues with pops of blush pink blossoms.

The soft english net veil was created at fingertip length with two beaded combs sewn to the top to match the crown. The veil can be worn with the crown during the ceremony and taken off afterwards for the reception.

Seriously in love with this combo! Thinking about adding it to the shop this coming year.

Back in October, the sweetest bride got married to her prince charming. I was contacted by one of my best friends to create this piece for her dear friend, Jess. I was so happy to create this custom piece for her fall wedding. Jess seriously made one gorgeous bride!!
I wish you and Eric the very best and may the Lord bless your marriage immensely!

This crown was recently made for a bride getting married in New Zealand this coming February. I used shades of white, peach and sage green with a bit of babys breath for this design. Can't wait to see photos of this piece on the bride!

I created this patriotic crown a while back for a birthday of a sweet customer and I realized I never shared this one! She wanted a piece similar to the Amelia Crown design but in shades of red, white and blue. Loved the way it turned out!

I also recently created a couple newborn crowns. I never thought I'd see such tiny flowers halos!! SO CUTE!!

This newborn crown was created for a sweet little girl, Kennadie. I created a matching one for her big sister a couple weeks prior for her 4th birthday so of course, her little sister needed a matching one!

This newborn floral crown was created for a precious little love to match her momma's crown that I made for her maternity photo shoot (the Harlow Crown). They now have mommy and me crowns!
I also made this pretty lace bow headband for her little lady, just because. Gah! She is so adorable!

If you'd like a custom piece, please send your requests to lovesparklepretty@aol.com or visit the shop and send a convo. I'd love to work with you!

{Photo Shoot} Whimsical Garden Wedding

Collaborating with different photographers around the world is one of my favorite things about what I do. Emily Chappell, a photographer from SC, contacted me via email a while back about a styled shoot she had in mind. I don't always get to say yes to collabs but I knew from her work and her ideas, this shoot would be beautiful! With a whimsical and romantic aesthetic in a garden setting, these photos had me "ooo-ing" and "aww-ing" over them!

Not only was Emily so amazing to work with when it came to donating a few of my floral crowns but the other vendors were quite wonderful as well! It took a little team to bring this shoot together and they did such a great job with the details! See the end of the post for all of the credits.

Enjoy this little sneak peek of this Whimsical Garden Wedding.

{Sneak Peek} of the NEW Fall Bridal Line

I've been talking about a new bridal line that I will be launching in a couple months. I've had all of these ideas in my head for a while and I am now finally able to make them tangible and come to life! Although, I still have quite a bit of work to do, I am hoping to get these pieces done by the end of August to launch as the Fall 2014 Bridal Line. With lots of hand beading, crystals, vintage-inspired rhinestones, intricate lace and delicate champagne tulle, these pieces are unique and the designs are something that I haven't created before.

I wanted to share just a little teeny tiny sneak peek on what I've been working on with more details to come.

{enjoy}

I am completely and utterly in love with this cream colored Chantilly lace. So intricate and feminine!

Just started this new design which is still in the works with quite a bit more details that must be added. So far, I've hand sewn several clear rhinestones set in antique bronze to this piece that I am so excited about!

This piece wasn't actually intended to be a part of the new line originally. It was inspired for an upcoming bridal shoot but once I started hand stitching several different laces and soft chiffon fabric together to create this veil, I was enamored with it! The complete piece isn't shown in the photo (the front is still being created) but with it's pretty details, I knew I must add this to the shop collection.

This oh so lovely floor length chiffon veil and floral crown combo was created as a custom order for a bride recently. Again, I fell in love with the design. Seriously, some of my pieces have come from the inspiration of my amazing clients! After receiving quite a bit of inquiries on this piece, I will be adding this veil to the shop very soon as well.

There are so many more details that need to be put together to make this collection complete & cohesive but I am so excited to create and see them come together.

What bridal trends are you most excited about?

Most of you may know, I am a wedding LOVER. I mean, I am a part-time wedding coordinator, creator of bridal adornments and I adore pretty details and romantic love stories. That said, I wanted to share a little treasure that I have found just for my brides and brides-to-be.

A Compilation of Recent Custom Pieces (a.k.a. "PRETTY" OVERLOAD)

Lately, I have been creating several custom pieces (hello wedding season)! I love creating custom items that turn out exactly how my customers envisioned their pretty pieces. I adore the different colors and variations of treasures that have left my craft studio here in So Cal that are now in the hands of their new owners.

I have compiled a few of these recent custom made orders.

Enjoy

This sweet floral crown was made specially for a young girl to match her momma's floral crown. The bride, who is renewing her vows in Jamaica (10 years of marriage!!) will be wearing the Leigh Crown while her daughter wears this pretty crown with added blue detail to match her brother's adorable suspenders and bow tie. I swoon over these stories behind the hand crafted pieces!

This floral crown was custom created for a bride who wanted a piece that was minimal yet beautiful. I used pops of coral hues within the greenery and white and ivory blossoms.

This crown was created for a bride who wanted a floral crown to really stun in the back. With hues of cream and pale pink, this crown also has hand sewn clips underneath to hold the pretty veil that the bride will be wearing on her big day.

This custom crown was also created for a bride who wanted a mix of pretty hues and intertwined natural bark for a bit of whimsical charm. I am in love with this colorful piece!
I had to display this crown on an early afternoon in the craft room. It's just so refreshing! Thank you Tara of Laila's Charming Pieces for my music sheet print! It's a beautiful reminder every day.

This minimal and natural-inspired design is one of my favorites! I love the greenery and small pops of lavender hues. I created this piece for a bride in the Virgin Islands (can't wait to see THOSE stunning photos)! She was the sweetest customer and I'm so thankful I get to work with people like her on a regular basis.

Kelsey, a bride in Arizona (getting married in just a few days!!) contacted me about creating a small custom veil (with removable brooch) and rhinestone sash. I was so excited to make these pieces for her and after sorting through lots of details, we finally came to 2 rhinestone and pearl designs that go together perfectly! So happy for you Kelsey and so thankful I got to work with you!

Back in February, I created this custom piece for a bride in PA. I hand sewn 2 different pieces together to create this flower and leaf design and also added a bit of gold shimmer to a few of the leaves by cutting and shaping floral blossoms. I then hand stiched gorgeous rhinestones throughout the design to complete this pretty bridal comb. It's amazing what you can create with several totally separate items! I just may add this comb to the shop soon!

Emily, a bride in Georgia just recently said "I Do" a few days ago. She wore the Intricately Beaded Feather Headband from the shop for her Gatsy-inspired vintage wedding. This piece wasn't necessarily completely custom but I just adore the photos that I have seen from her photographer-Leslie West Photography so far. I just had to share. :) Congrats again Emily!!

Now how about a bit of baby love?

These pieces weren't really custom either but these sweet girls bring such joy through their photos taken with floral pieces from Love Sparkle Pretty.

This is my beautiful friend Aurora's daughter (see more of her story and sweetness on her blog here).
Oh Sydney love! You are just too precious for words! Happy 2nd birthday! (Wearing the Ainsleigh Floral Crown).

This adorable little gal had her photos taken by Khim from Snaptastic Shots. She is wearing the Ivory and Gold Floral Crown. I just adore her!

That's about it for my most recent custom orders round up! It's always such a joy to create beauty for others. If you'd like to place a custom order, please visit the shop or send an email to lovesparklepretty@aol.com.

Thank you so much my friends!

Have a lovely Tuesday!!
