Romantic and Ethereal Designs: The Newest Flower Crown and Veil.

New designs have been added to the shop with several more on their way. Meet the 'Sienna' Floral Crown and the 'Sarah' Veil. Each of my designs are inspired by romance and ethereal aesthetic and these pretty pieces are no exception.

Sienna is created with light cream and ivory roses which look and feel so realistic. Sage eucalyptus leaves are intertwined throughout her design for a romantic aesthetic. She's perfect for the ethereal bride to grace her locks as she says her vows.
See more of Sienna in the shop here.

Sarah is a juliet cap style veil created with the softest english net veiling flowing from romantic and intricate ivory cream chantilly lace. The back of the veil has carefully sewn in cream florals and a touch of greenery to add a bit of ethereal beauty.

Recent Custom Pieces {Floral Crowns, Bridal Veils and Newborn CUTENESS}

Hello friends.

I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and a beautiful holiday. I certainly did with my family! We were exhausted by the end of the day but I am so thankful for the love of our family around us! That's what truly matters most.

Now that the holidays are drawing to an end, I have quite a bit of catching up to do with sharing what's going on with the shop. I haven't shared any custom pieces recently so I figured I would start there. I get quite a bit of custom requests and I don't get around to sharing them very often so I compiled a few recent pieces for this post.

enjoy

This custom floral crown was created for a bride getting married in April 2015 in beautiful Riviera Maya, Mexico. The bride wanted a piece similar to the Everly Crown but with more ivory/white hues and just a touch of peach/pink and sage green in her piece. She was so amazing to work with and I'm loving the way this crown turned out! So excited for her!

I know I shared this piece via social media a while back but I realized I never shared it on the blog! I created this custom crown and english net veil combo for a bride getting married this coming June. This is definitely one of my favorite custom pieces I've created yet! For the crown, I hand beaded and wired the front of it with rose gold wire with an assortment of shades of gold, bronze and pearl beads and rhinestones. For the back of it, I used ivory hues with pops of blush pink blossoms.

The soft english net veil was created at fingertip length with two beaded combs sewn to the top to match the crown. The veil can be worn with the crown during the ceremony and taken off afterwards for the reception.

Seriously in love with this combo! Thinking about adding it to the shop this coming year.

Back in October, the sweetest bride got married to her prince charming. I was contacted by one of my best friends to create this piece for her dear friend, Jess. I was so happy to create this custom piece for her fall wedding. Jess seriously made one gorgeous bride!!
I wish you and Eric the very best and may the Lord bless your marriage immensely!

This crown was recently made for a bride getting married in New Zealand this coming February. I used shades of white, peach and sage green with a bit of babys breath for this design. Can't wait to see photos of this piece on the bride!

I created this patriotic crown a while back for a birthday of a sweet customer and I realized I never shared this one! She wanted a piece similar to the Amelia Crown design but in shades of red, white and blue. Loved the way it turned out!

I also recently created a couple newborn crowns. I never thought I'd see such tiny flowers halos!! SO CUTE!!

This newborn crown was created for a sweet little girl, Kennadie. I created a matching one for her big sister a couple weeks prior for her 4th birthday so of course, her little sister needed a matching one!

This newborn floral crown was created for a precious little love to match her momma's crown that I made for her maternity photo shoot (the Harlow Crown). They now have mommy and me crowns!
I also made this pretty lace bow headband for her little lady, just because. Gah! She is so adorable!

If you'd like a custom piece, please send your requests to lovesparklepretty@aol.com or visit the shop and send a convo. I'd love to work with you!

Some exciting shop announcements + recent pretties!

I have a few exciting announcements to make about the shop!
The first, as of the end of September, long veils will "officially" be in the shop! After some practiced techniques and creating a custom knee-length veil for a sweet someone, I am so excited to finally grace the shop with more bridal options.
Kayla of Kayla V Photography snapped a few photos of this tulle and lace veil adorned by the gorgeous Jessica Butler.
If you follow me on Instagram, you may recognize this pretty piece which is going out to Oregon for a photo shoot with Beyond the Wanderlust. This fingertip veil will be the first to make its way to the shop!
While we are talking veils, I must share some lovely photos of a dear customer of mine from Virginia. She wore this vintage inspired veil from the shop on her wedding day and looked STUNNING! So happy for you Elaine! Photos by A Little Bit of Whimsy Photography.
Speaking of weddings, I just completed this order for a bride who is gifting these mint and gold bracelet sets to her bridesmaids. How sweet is that? These make the PERFECT bridesmaid gifts (and any gift for that matter). You can also customize your colors! Just send me a convo on Etsy or email me at: lovesparklepretty@aol.com.
Last but not least, I added some new items to the shop including this gorgeous floral crown. We did a boho inspired photo shoot a while back but at the time, I wasn't sure about selling floral crowns. After several requests though, this pink, peach and ivory one is now available! The very first bridal sash has just been made available last night! This OOAK pink lace sash with pearl and tulle detail was handmade using blush pink lace from a pretty T-shirt that I had purchased just for this piece! I couldn't find the perfect material at the fabric store so I went shopping and found an amazing lace top that I hand cut, shaped and sewn into this gorgeous blossom. I LOVE it! Photography by Kristen Booth.
This simple yet elegant lace veil was just added as well. See blog post here. Photography by Kayla V Photography. Modeling by Megan Fay.
I also added this ivory and white floral crown which would be amazing as a bridal piece. I can totally see it worn by itself or over a simple tulle veil. See blog post here. Photography by Kayla V Photography. Modeling by Megan Fay.

SNEAK PEEK of a NEW scarf coming this week + 2 NEW bridal veils added to the shop!

Want to know what will be arriving to the shop SOON (as in, this coming week)?
New ruffled bow scarves!
These are SUPER comfy and soft!
What do you think and what colors would you like to see them in?
I personally, adore them already and can't wait to crank out lots more!
Until then, I have 2 scarves left as of right now and they are on SALE!
Go check them out right here.

This week I added 2 new bridal veils to the shop!
Come take a peek!

This piece is a double layered blusher veil made with french veiling, tulle and beautiful detailed lace with beading. I am in love with this look and right now, there are only 2 available!
Want to see more details and purchase this lovely veil?
Go see it in the shop here.

This second veil is quite unique and versatile. It is made with tulle and a pretty detailed chain applique with beading and rhinestones. I really love that there are different ways to wear this piece. Some different ways are shown but the possibilities exceed them.
For more details and to purchase this veil, go see it in the shop here.

I really love the mini "blusher" veils but I want to make a long veil soon. I haven't taken on that project just yet but if anyone is interested in a long veil, I could take it on much sooner.
:wink::wink::
:)
OH! Exciting news! A few days ago, I got a surprise email from a writer over at Pretty Pear Bride Magazine telling me that my rustic boutonniere is featured in the magazine on page 65. It's my first magazine feature and you can see it right here! So thankful for all the support I get from you guys and others. It makes it all the more worth-while to continue to do what I love!

Have a beautiful night everyone.
