These little beauties are made with silk petals that have been hand cut, shaped and sewn together on a black elastic head band. Each flower measures ~2" in diameter & has 3 black glass beads sewn in the center. The elastic head band won't "ride up" when wearing it and is really comfortable!

Yesterday, I FINALLY received my last package in the mail so I can start creating my NEWEST---& totally rad idea!

& here's a SNEAK PEEK!!
There will be several designs to choose from but this is the first:)
It's made with an antique brass chain, vintage-inspired sewing machine, "made with love" charm (because anything we create, we put our whole hearts into right? :), 2 pearls, & clear cab with several designs on a vintage-inspired filigree setting.
These will be available really really soon so keep an eye out.

Have you ever been in a creative rut? Where you just don't feel inspired to create ANYTHING?!
I have been feeling like this the past couple weeks and no matter how hard I try to find inspiration, it's not whacking me in the face or tripping me up like I want it to!
I thought it was because my craft room was such a darn mess so I cleaned it thinking that would do the trick...& no! If anything, I just like sitting in here now looking at the transformation but not knowing what else to do.
I desperately NEED inspiration!
What do you do to find that creative pull?
Have any pointers for me?
I recentently created small flower hairpieces for a friend. She asked for smaller ones so that when she gives them as gifts, her friends can wear them on a daily basis. Since I knew they were all nursing students too, our scrubs are {maroon} and I figured, why not add a bit of {maroon} to each one to match our scrubs? Makes sense since we are wearing them every week! So, that's what I did! :)
These little beauties were created with ranuncula petals, hydrangea petals, cherry blossom as well as little daisy petals.
Each flower had a touch of {sparkle} added with a rhinestone for the center and glitter leaves. So cute & with each one about 2-2.5" around, so petite! :)
These can also be created on elastic headbands for little girls or leave them as is--on an alligator clip!
