The Tea Party Collection is HERE!

The Tea Party Collection is now in the shop! These petite beauties are inspired by the fun dress up moments that little girls get into with mommy's heels, a big floppy hat and with pinkies up, sip from a small tea cup. Tea parties are always such a lovely occasion and this collection of hair clips reflect just that! They are created with lace, pearls, ruffles, sparkle and LOTS of love! Perfect for the {sweetest} little girls!

Newest Pieces Made! Crafty, Crafty!

I have been working on a couple new projects and just wanted to share a little post on them :)I have received a few orders for some June weddings and finished a custom piece using magnolia petals, ivory chiffon, ivory french veiling, feathers, and a crystal broach.


This was originally part of a piece called HAILEY--Modeled by my beautiful friend Crystal :) I created the flower by itself though instead of attached to a "halo" and I love it! I'm so excited to see photos of the beautiful bride that I created this piece for!  I am also currently working on 6 boutonnieres for another June wedding using the colors Blue/Lavender, light gray, and blush for the color palette. I can't wait to finish these because these are going to be beautiful! I love the colors that were chosen! :)  I also have another custom wedding hairpiece for a wedding in August. The color palette will be ivory with a bit of light pink for an accent (love the light fabric I have for this piece!) A birdcage veil will also go with this piece and a post will be on it's way about this one. :)  Yesterday, I received--and completed an order for a prom hairpiece--which so happens to be this friday in North Carolina! Usually, I don't take on custom orders with such a short period of time to complete but I did (& so happy I did!). It turned out so beautifully and was made to match the dress that will be worn (which is STUNNING btw). I created this piece with ivory magnolia petals, 3 types of lace, aqua & ivory feathers, aqua blue chiffon fabric, gray/silver satin, and a bunch of different beads that I sewn to the center. These beads match the bits of beaded detail on the dress. :) I can't wait to see photos soon of the dress and hairpiece together! :) I ALSO made a new necklace (just about done). I call this one {VintageTresures} & I LOVE it!!!! This will be available SOON in the Love Sparkle Pretty Shop  Anywho, I still have a couple more orders to complete as well so I shall go and start those too :) Let me just say though, that I LOVE what I do! When I get to create something for somebody else who really loves it as well, it makes me so happy! THANK YOU!!!  {Have a BEAUTIFUL day!}

Petite Flowers

I recentently created small flower hairpieces for a friend. She asked for smaller ones so that when she gives them as gifts, her friends can wear them on a daily basis. Since I knew they were all nursing students too, our scrubs are {maroon} and I figured, why not add a bit of {maroon} to each one to match our scrubs? Makes sense since we are wearing them every week! So, that's what I did! :)

These little beauties were created with ranuncula petals, hydrangea petals, cherry blossom as well as little daisy petals.

Each flower had a touch of {sparkle} added with a rhinestone for the center and glitter leaves. So cute & with each one about 2-2.5" around, so petite! :)

These can also be created on elastic headbands for little girls or leave them as is--on an alligator clip!

MUSTARD! The color of course :)

Ok, I must admit, I used to hate the color of mustard yellow but for the past couple of months, I have seen this color pop up everywhere and I have fallen in love with it! :) I even created a hairpiece inspired by this color...(which is available HERE)

Chiara + Michael's wedding--featuring OOAK bridal hairpiece :D

A couple months ago, I had the opportunity to create a custom hairpiece for a bride in San Jose, CA. When she messaged me her ideas of an ivory flower with mint green details and a detachable birdcage veil that just covered the eyes, I was ecstatic to start creating her vision! After a couple of weeks in the making, I was so happy with her one of a kind piece and I wasn't the one! :)
Chiara was such a pleasure to work with and was really sweet. She recently sent me a message that read: "...my flower and veil made such a huge impact at my wedding. Everyone loved it, and asked where I got it. I def recommended you. Thanks again- I can't repay you!!! The photos were beautiful..."
She also sent me a link to her Nov. 6, 2011 wedding and let me tell ya, her wedding was absolutely beautiful and so unique! She made such a stunning bride and I was so delighted to see the final results of her hairpiece worn on her special day. Congrats again Chiara & Michael! Thank you so much for the opportunity to be a part of your special day! :D
