A couple nights ago, I had a spontaneous idea to create a mini photoshoot inspired by Valentine's Day! (You can read a little bit more about the day of the shoot right
here.)
Valentine's Day is one of those holidays that you either love or hate. I just so happen love it, not only because my husband is super sweet but also because the Valentine decor is always so pretty and soo cute! It's hard to go by all of the red, pink, candy, sparkles and hearts in the stores and not want to decorate the whole house and throw a super girly party.
Please tell me I'm not alone on that one! lol
For this mini inspired photoshoot, I used a colorful palette of aqua, pink, white and gold with hints of sparkle. I stayed up the night before to put all the little details together such as the little "favors" of adorable heart pins made of felt and the lacy scalloped garland which was made using paper doilies from the dollar store. These are just some ideas that are easy to do and don't cost a whole lot.
